Integrated Learning
Integration relates to balance and efficiency. We often use the term ‘integration’ in the context of computer systems. An integrated computer network system provides the user with the most efficient way of processing, storing, retrieving and making the most intelligent use of data input. If there is a blockage in the system, its efficiency is reduced, making storage and retrieval difficult, and on occasion, when the system closes down completely, impossible.
In See-a-Sound’s integrated approach to learning, children are helped to become balanced so that they can learn in a way that is most efficient for them as individuals. This is achieved by creating a relaxed, calm and supportive learning environment, and by providing a variety of learning techniques, so that children can choose the style of learning that is most efficient for them. In addition, fun physical activities designed to switch on the brain and to develop physical coordination and mental focus are practised daily. Visualisation and gentle breathing techniques are also practised daily to help children to find emotional balance and inner calm. So, a See-a-Sound learning programme helps the child to become balanced at the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels, so that they can learn efficiently and effectively. |
